When the machine recommends someone else

I tested 77 companies drawn from the public ESA BIC Noordwijk incubatee and alumni listings across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews with buyer-style vendor searches. In 79.7% of answers, the target company for the buyer-style prompt was not surfaced. Here is the data.
